Meditation

There is a trail

Down through the tall cedar

Down to the River

The Sun shines in shafts of gold

Making patterns on the red dirt.

It sparkles and dances on the water.

I sit on a boulder, flat and gray,

That lies partway in the river.

I listen . . .

The water's voice

It speaks to me.

I feel warmth from the rock

From the Sun,

From somewhere

DEEP

Inside my Soul . . .

I feel Peace

I am Peace

All that my Eyes behold

Is Sacred.

I am sacred.

Haa!
