“Shadows Against The Wall”

Silently darkness seeps through my window

Everything that was once there

Burning fire warm

Table… chest of drawers

Now only shadows against the wall

Dreams of yesterday

Melancholy and sinister

Established the hour

For everything

High buildings of hope get demolished everyday

And all that remains

Another shadow against the wall

Trumpets and cymbal predict

The end of it all

Love is the fire of foreplay

But end up in a law court

Because

Love now only

A shadow against the wall

Dressed in black or white

No matter what

Wondering

How long joy could last

Living head over heels

Helter sKelter…

Stop banging like a bull at the gate

Life

Still remains

Only a shadow against the wall

Longing to love…

And enjoy head over heels

Because coffin is waiting

As life in only

A shadow against the wall

Silently

Darkness seeps through window now wet

Fire gets another piece of wood

To heat the coldness within

As mind walks an unknown path

Of unknown lands

As the Universe

Becomes

Just a shadow against my wall

A flickering shadow

Comes alive

Within each teardrops
