Part of this poem,
"...i be writin an singin
on my crazy ship of dreams
nobody hear the madness
of my de looooo si on alllll screams"
has been running around in my head the past several days. Today, the rest of the poem gelled. And so, I write.

"CRAZY SHIP" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ floatin on a sea of fear on my crazy ship of dreams was the captain of my fate i was on my own it seems ~ waves were reachin thirty feet on my crazy ship of dreams i felt small and overwhelmed i'd be dashed to smithereens ~ stores of hope fell overboard on my crazy ship of dreams only thing left was my pen an my journal pages clean ~ i be writin an singin on my crazy ship of dreams nobody heard the madness of my de loooooo si on alllll screams ~ the sun be so burnin hot on my crazy ship of dreams i seen some things on that day 'god' i begged 'please intervene' ~ he heard my desperate cry from my crazy ship of dreams he breathed life into my words a poet's worth was redeemed ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (C) Copy written, 8 March, 2005, by Karla Dorman.

Definitely agree with Jude... dreams are in fact our only life-saver, and life-giver... and, oh, well... sanity grasped when all else is maddeningly swerving, like this not at all "crazy" ship! :0)
Delightful poem, dear friend! :0)

| I think a thunderstorm while sailing would have been something that you could have REALLY gotten a few words out of...if you would have come out from under your berth in your cabin...LOL! You keep writin' em, and I will keep readin' em....Ed |
