Danger Lurks
There was a man who once loved his family, who cared for his very own,
However, one day temptation came calling with its lure of passion promised.
Thus sending him on a journey far away and alone…
However, as fate would have it and as blind justice has its special way,
Bringing here unto a sorrowful quandary, which has captured the joy from his day.
For he is an old man ensnared by the wiles of a young woman
Who by the stroking of his fragile ego usurped a family on whole
bringing forth with it countless days and innumerable nights of sorrow.
Yet now as I pen these words…more trouble has come his way,
For he has lost himself in this foreign and strange world, and will…
unless there is help from someone somewhere…it is there he will stay.
Therefore enter I…
for this question was brought to me this day.
I was asked of a journey to partake…
A journey to this ancient and far away land…
a journey to rescue…to retrieve…to save this man.
I consider this out of love,
I reject it out of fear,
Yet I am so confused
For it has brought many that are close to me…
To heartache and tears.
So if one day soon,
When you look at the setting moon
and you know that I am not here…
Think of me, and pray for my way…
That it will be free of obstacles
and that I did indeed save the day.
