|Brilliant Michelle, I just learned that a very dear friend who is seriously ill (but not beyond hope) has become involved with one of these sicko charismatic cults (why do they call these guys charismatic, they are total creeps? I have seen them on TV documentaries. If a comedian did that on stage here in England he would be pilloried for making fun of people with cerebal palsy.
We often lok across the Atlantic and think "what is wrong in America."
Thank you so much for this one.

|This, Michelle, is long overdue, needed-to-be-said ranting that is all the more effective, brought to verse here. You have thrown down the gauntlet, spoken loudly, firmly and resolutely about something that has sickened me all my life. Millions of wayward, ill, life-weary souls are tricked by these and sooooooo many other so-called God people.
The second one of these "criminals" says a hateful word, passes judgement on another or even suggests that someone is sinful because.... I'm on the warpath. Jesus, himself, taught love and kindness... the hypocrits, and there a TONS OF THEM, seem to forget this: 'he who is without sin cast the first stone...'
Thank you for posting this. If only it could be mandatory reading. Sigh... you've done humanity a service. katy xox.

|Its funny think I think, obvioulsy that huckerism is a sad state of affairs, but the poem also pointed out to me well ac ouple things, but it also pointed ot to me that in my best attempts I could be a total fraud, and that apparent too, ty Al|

|It's all been said below, and we can perhaps all testify to either wonderful or horrendous experiences on both sides of the fence. All we can say for sure is that miracles DO happen every single day in countless fashion; on the other hand, things do not necessarily happen according to how we either desire or pray. God does things in His own way, in His own time and with whomsoever and to whomsoever He pleases. He is no-one's puppet but I believe He does answer the prayers of those who are sincerely looking for Him to act; but again, we sometimes do not either see or recieve the WAY in which He answers. What can be sure is that the whole area is fraught with danger and frustration, and you have illuminated and articulated this extremely well. Imposters need to be exposed and dealt with and their ability to practice curtailed. It is indeed the sickest form of corruption and abuse. TY Kate xx|

|You get them everywhere Michelle!!
But I can vow for a miracle that happened to me when I had shin'gles!!
I was healed...but then one Sunday after that I stood up and told every one that I was healed...and this one man who I know well stood up and praizes the lord for saving his Potato's and told everyone that they were in full bloom again...and I knew for a fact that it was a lie...because the day before he was moaning that he lost his crop..shows you how two face people can be!! And this man was the one who convinced me to attend the services in his "church"in the first place.
After he told this brutal lie I stood up and walked out...and never returned.
I walked down that lane once to often!!

|I saw the same show. I agree 100 percent! Why the people are such fools to think they are going to receive a blessing for listening to such garbage is beyond me! People forget that Satan can act as an angel of light also. This man is of Satan not God! Great poem, Michelle!|

Don't get me started...LOL
SPOT ON! These charletains are what gives Jesus a bad name. I used to watch and pray to be healed...some person speaking strange tongues over you and knocking you down ain't gonna do it. It's all based on emotionalism, I think...the more faith you have, the more likely you're going to get healed. And this bullfeathers on prosperity???? JAYS...the only one getting rich is the preacher.
Thank you for speaking out truthfully--I hope this message is spread throughout the land! BRAVA! *STANDING O!*
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

|this is so sad, yet it is so true. then people wonder why they don't like christians or religion as a whole. i have been healed several times myself, but there are things that i still deal with on a daily basis, and i know god will take care of me. even if i don't get fully healed while on this earth, i WILL get healed when i get to heaven; either way, i have a healing coming to me, and i am NOT sending money to some preacher who is taking advantage of the poor, elderly, or disabled. that is crazy!! i'll rely on god, and god alone!!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :(
