The loose ends of murder take crusading cop Martin Nicols thousands of miles from his home beat … and into a steaming hotbed of child vice, inhuman torture and death.

Ce livre est un exemple selon lequel la communauté se fourvoie dans son apperception du réel, tandis qu’un adolescent s’engage dans le chemin de la vérité. En somme, cet ..

OBLIVION

I cannot even remember

What I thought I would ever find

When all that I can see

Is those I left behind

They course through my veins

Scorch my eyes

The voices echo in my head

The word hero a lie

How I wish I could recall

Those by hand we led

If I could think of those still living

Instead of residing with the dead

So hard to remember

Those that we did find

While I’m consumed to the core

By all those left behind

Tell me you could close your eyes

That you could walk away

Away from painful memories

And loneliness that stays

Tell me how you do it

Tell me how you find a way to live

When you know deep within your heart

You had just a little more to give

Just one more outstretched hand

I might have been able to grasp

Just one more favor from someone’s god

I might have been able to ask

But that faith has long since faded

Into a too-quiet, oblivious night

Leaving in its wake false hope

And reality to fight

There are no more favors to be won

No going back just once more

No more souls to be brought to the light

Through a shadowy, closing door

And I really don’t remember anymore

What I thought there was to find

Beyond those ghosts that won’t stay in the past

All those I left behind

It seems that it is always after it is too late that we think of those things which would have made a difference.

You put it behind you by remembering that we only live in the day that we are given but as for my opinion it will be on the TWELFH OF NEVER when I forget. I salute the heros of 911.
