sometimes relationships can be like puzzles.
     you start out with two broken pieces and
          try to fit them together to make it whole
               but without the patience to try
                    different combinations and configurations
                         you never complete it
                              to see the bigger picture of
                                   what could have been

Have to agree that sometimes we can get so used to the ill-fitting yoke that the thought of a new and better fit just seems beyond our ability to achieve, so we keep hobbling along! But, even with just two bits, the combinations can be endless - jam isn't the only thing that can accompany muffins, after all! An intriguing write, BJ. TY Kate
