Schism

Are you not impressed?
Does this not move you somehow?
Do I have to find the flavor that only you will savor?

If the words are blessed
and in your spirit do endow
commit to me a favor and I'll submit my waiver

and stray from you...

Is there hope for us?
Can we find a common ground?
Is there something fundamental to why you are so judgmental?

If the eventual terminus
the remainder of all sound
came from the experimental and embraced the elemental

came it not in due course?

Are you there?
Do you hear me ranting?
Are you only listening when my tongue is glistening?

Deem these words as fair
and I'll cease the recanting
and my tears will be a christening for anybody listening.

Speak, then, and allow
this trangression to progress
to find its natural course
to impose, inquire and impress
to usher out some emotion
and introduce duress
weighted with consideration
this humble poet's request.

I liked your very unorthodox rhyming technique here,it creates a lot of tension within the poem, the kind of mood one would expect during this kind of schism

I loved the image "and my tears will be a christening for anybody listening", and the whole exhortation is powerfully engaging. I hope that many more may cross the bridge over this rift, because your poetry is well worth discovering.
