no please anything but...

Wash wash wash
Wash wash
The dishes

Visions of me
Standing there
Thinking I have
Not a care

Thump thump
The heart
Plugs the pump
Into the soap suds
I slump

No not the way to go
Washing dishes
No No No!

Cute poetic spin on something most of us hate, especially the guys Lynn. Your poems are honest and fit right into life. You're right about that parent thing, but it is a force hard to defeat, especially when you;re young. I handle it better now in my old age. G

Oh, I hate it so too. However, this makes me think of a quote Steven Curtisl Lance used on one of his pages here: "I want death to find me planting my cabbage" - Michel Eyquem De Montaigne (1553-1592) French Philosopher, Essayist
My life has been so crazy, sometimes I think a good year of washing dishes would me well. ;-) ~~Nordette

Um, yes, God. I know you heard that. No, I am not putting in a request for boredom or a more mundane life. I'll take the roller coaster ride as long as You've got the controls.
