Humor? Maybe not, but still as weird as is the writer...

Parallel Dimensions…

I am a 44 waist and 32 length,

My shirt size is usually double Xtra large,

My feet fit better in a thirteen but are supposedly twelve’s,

Some people may call me, but not to my face, as big as a barge…

But that is not what I wanted to write about right now,

Wanted to see if you felt there might be other dimensions,

Besides that of our own personal ones or those of a cow,

Are we always here in this world or do we jump to another,

Hope do I when I jump I do not run into my dead mother…

What can be said about other places like the ones in which we live,

Yes dimensions if you will, though I would not, it is all just jive,

We all live our lives like bees in a very large hive,

We all keep going and work our best and try to survive…

If we all knew of parallel worlds, places where others of us did exist,

Would we be excited, enraged, or feel otherwise exposed,

Would we run for the hills; I might be that way disposed,

Would we want to meet our other selves?

Or would we just want for them to be sent back to their existence,

I am not sure if any of this did in anyway to you, let alone me, make any whatsoever sense…

This reminds me of a TV show that was on a few years back, and that I really liked. It was called 'Sliders' and the characters in it had a machine that allowed them to 'slide' into parallel universes. And guess what? Every other alternate existence they slid into was either just as bad, and often much worse, than the one we're in. Doesn't say much for mankind, no matter what universe we are in.
