For Two People

The wind changes direction,
Drying up lively leaves,
Blown away far away,
As ships lose their way,
Out at the vast blue sea,
Looking hopelessly for a light-house,
As harsh laughter is heard,
By the thieves of the heart,
Stolen from you by a stranger,
As hatred builds up inside,
Killing emotions and passions,
As love is for two people,
To be sought, saved, preserved,
And lived together.
