A lover of words is a Lexophile...

A backward poet writes inverse…

Do I write in reverse?

From the behind rather than front,

Lover of words am I on the hunt,

Nothing I do write will ever fill my purse…J

But that’s not the point,

I am here to have fun,

That’s why I have joined this clip joint,

No way though do any of you disappoint,

Just wanted to again make you laugh,

Don’t get your nose all out of joint…J

Can’t can I hit the side of a barn,

With something that could be printed,

Have written though quite a few home spun yarns,

Most of what is written is of my lack of sanity, hinted…J

So keep on writing in verse,

Using the rhythm and rhyme,

We are all so famous or infamous for,

Maybe the day will actually come that,

We can all say that we actually did make at least, one thin dime…J

Home Spun Yarns are always the best - and your humor is priceless, but if you truly want a dime - I'll send you one - by carrier pigeon - but you'll have to feed him when he gets there - which costs about a buck - so, sadly, my friend - you've just lost 90 cents!

Seems like many noses are 'out of joint' you've got about as many comments as I did on my last submission...Maybe the christian coalition and the love-bunnies are in their serious phase..:)
