i went outside this afternoon
just to enjoy this bright Sring day
just to get outta' my cacoon
so in my house, i just wouldn't stay
so i could hear Springs tune
so i could hear the children play

the day was bright blue
not a cloud in the sky
this Spring day was true
i couldn't let it pass me bye
we get so few
before we begin to fry

the bright yellow Sun
was headed just West
to end it's run
to take it's rest
it's day to be done

then to the East
i did spy
my eyes did feast
there in the blue sky
half a pale white Moon
there in the middle of the afternoon

and from my angle
we formed a perfect triangle
a perfect tune
me & the Sun & the Moon
on a cool, clear day
the Sun & the Moon
both came my way
