......just follow the second star to the right, straight on 'til morning. ~ Peter Pan to the Darling Children.












The light in her eyes was rivaled
by the lights that flashed from her fingers.
A stirring of power ageless and unknown
to mere mortals.

Her innocence and goodness
shown out of her like a beacon.
The prerequisite unicorn in the background
- a sign of her gentleness and virginity.

The green bower in which she stood
gleamed like emeralds...
just as her hair shone like golden
rays of the sun.

It was a moment of pure enchantment
and of being on the brink of breathless magic..
much like looking over into the abyss of the
Niagara Falls or looking up at all those stars in the sky.

One moment stood still - forever it seemed.
One blink of an eye and this would be a memory..
a dream of something wonderful that almost happened.
Step through the door into fairyland and dream.

Very beautifully written Silver! I love the last verse for its reminder of how in just a blink of an eye we could miss it.
