Thanks for giving me a home

oh kindred soul of light

I didnít mean set your house on fire

and Iíll be moving out tonight

My crystals needed cleansing

So I picked some sage to burn

I thought that gasoline would help

It sure did, now I have learned

Iíll be sleeping in that tree tonight

The one in your front yard

I need no food, nor water

I will feed on strips of bark

In the morning Iíll descend

Enlightened and awake

then Iíll need to use your car

for I must be somewhere at eight

Hmmmm... the car? Well, only if you're back by 9:30 sharp, so you can get to the court date on time! (grin)

What a riot! When a poem makes me chuckle out loud, I'm for you, sir.

Your character "Newt" has a decidedly em... hmmm... ah, yes, that's it: Republican ring to it. Trouble does seem to follow the 'poor' man, doesn't it? Carry on........katy.

Nicely done. You bring out this character most effectively. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis

Newt's one dangerous character, I'd say.
Nice work

Best wishes
