:) And lucky for us she did give birth to a 'tiny tinky'. You are worth every day of those fifty years, Tinka. Pain is lingering, but living life defeats its power over its fears, and creates strength of spirit, a compassionate nature, a soul-shine and a love for cookies, um, I mean sunrises, which sustains our hearts, minds and spirits.
Funny, at the store, an hour ago, I bought two bags of low-carb. brownie mixes that were discontinued for sale. After, and if, the girls help me clean the kitchen, we will bake one up, and I will toast your birthday with a 'cookie facsimile', and a smile.
Yours in friendship,
Erin |

Very reflective work on why we are and who we are today. Sometimes we never find the answer but learn to accept the wonders and beauty that we do see in out lives. I was born but a year before you so perhaps that explains our mutual understanding in verse. Nice work Tinka and a precious treasured picture you share with us.
