A new origianal collaboration between Chanti and Felix

Devil Dancerís Dance Partner

I am the devil dancer oh will you share this fiery dance with me

Iíll tease you into feeling heaven but take you down below for free

Iíll take your heart and two step it Ďneath my satin cape of red

I am the devil dancer girl and Iíll lure you to my bed

I am the angel harpist in my gown of flowing white

My hair it shines around my head a vision of bright light

Donít tempt me into evil-youíre far too hot for me

Help! My wings are burning. Gonna plunge into the sea

I am the devil dancer girl oh let me feel your satin skin

Can I taste your drops of sweat and lick them off my devils chin

I will singe the clothes from off your back if you but say the word

I am the devil dancer girl donít believe all that youíve heard

I am the angel singer but my song has found a beat

My harp has disappeared, now my gíitar takes the heat

Rocking to the ardour of the lust that was restrained

You ask me if my purity was something that I feigned

I am the devil dancer girl can you smell brimstone in the air

Flickering fires surround you girl add highlights to your hair

My fingers waltz across your skin until I find your place of sin

I am the devil dancer girl and itís not a place that I have been

Iím a fiery angel and my heart pounds to your tune

Iíve gone from clouds to paradise within an afternoon

No longer in a chorus singing choral songs

Exchanged my robe of white for a pair of sexy thongs

I am the devil dancer oh well you let me have my way

Feel the hardened horn of Satan come on itís time to play

You stole from me my power now itís I who craves the night

I am the devil dancer girl but you took away my will to fight

Iím the fallen angel, now the tables have been turned

The devil dancer tempted me and has been badly burned

Heís all worn out and flaccid while I keep going strong

Oh devil dancer rise again, what on heaven and earth is wrong?

The Devil dancer's dance is done
the angel harpist swooned
though fair angel this first contest won
by the dance her harp is ruined

great collab!

Tables being turned indeed... can hear all those scratched old vinyl records crankin up the sixties and seventies psychedelia love vibes! But, of course, Chanti would be MUCH to young to remember all that, so her innocence remains convincingly intact!! Can just smell the jossticks... or is it the brimstone?! Love this fudging of the issues and the flirtation at the eternal fence! Reminds me of convent school...!! :)) Fun, fun, fun as AJT would say! TY Kate xx

Felix thanks for sending me your contribution. I have collaborated only once before with Jude and it was totally different to this experience. You sent me the devilish verses and I fitted in my responses. It took me about five minutes and was very tongue-in-cheek. I enjoyed the banter.
BTW folks, Felix is no devil and I am certainly no angel. Don't take this too literally. We were having a bit of light-hearted fun.
