i worry...
i worry i worry too much.
i worry i don't worry enuff.
i worry 'till my face get's flush.
i worry 'till i'm in a huff.

i worry
and i hurry
and i scurry
'till things get blurry
and that worries me
i worry 'bout things i can't even see
or touch
it worries me that i might worry too much

i worry 'bout me
i worry ' bout you
i worry 'bout things when there's nuthin' ta' do
i worry 'bout thee & we
i worry 'bout she & he
i worry 'bout him & them
i worry i can't just let things be

i worry 'bout my kids
and the things that they've hid
did i tighten that lid?
or is it too loose?
i even worry 'bout Mother Goose
or gettin' killed by a moose,
or the hangman's noose.

i worry i'm late
or should i wait?
i worry about Affairs of State
did i close that gate?
will i ever find a mate?
do i love or do i hate?
whatever happened to my cousin Kate?

am i livin' or am i dyin'?
why am i laughin' when i outta' be cryin'?
why am i even tryin?
do i try hard enuff?
do i have enuff stuff?
should i call the bluff?
when is enuff enuff?

am i too hot?
is it too cold?
why or why not?
have i got a blood clot?
is this the right slot?
does that plant need a new pot?
have i got what i got?
have i got what i need?
should i beg or plead?
is that a flower or a weed?

am i a loser or a winner?
a saint or a sinner?
what's for dinner
or lunch?
i got a hunch
i worry a bunch
but in a crunch
i'll just worry about that
when there's nuthin' else to worry at

what about the government?
the environment?
how 'bout the air
is it still there?
why am i here?
if not here where?
can i still hear?
can i still see?
why do i be
like that?
is this the right hat?
are you sure the worlds not flat?
should i get a dog or a cat?
see, i worry 'bout things like that.

sometimes i think
i worry too much
then i worry i might sink
if i don't worry 'bout such & such
and just when
i've worried enuff
i worry 'bout other stuff.

my worryin' worries me
can't you see?
but what do i do?
how about you?
do you worry too?
now that worries me
that's theres 2 or 3
just like me.
just worryin' away
each day.
so whata' ya' say?
whata' ya' do?
here's what will do...
i'll worry 'bout you.
you worry 'bout me.
then we'll just let worryin' be.

Steve, this is so cute! And probably true for many people. WHY WORRY has beautiful cadence and rhyme and is full of humor.
