If I am Number One, it's a damned sad spot...

As ice child, I did come out to play,
your warmth lured me,
without wisdom I skipped, laughed
beneath your rays forgetting my end of days...
You blazed, penetrated every pin of my world,
I looked down at my little girl belly.
Whoa! The curves of a woman formed.
And then familiar stings...
I return now to my castle, Snow Queen.

Snow Queen, my ex was called Ice Queen. You should get together.

Meet up in a freezer somewhere.

Nordette, I do so agree with Constance. We HAVE TO BE snow queens here and there in order to survive. Men will know they did something to offend us, when we give the cold shoulder more than once. Very poignant write, I really enjoyed reading this. May the Lord be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & (((HUGS))), Barbie

A deeply poignant and evocative poem, stands glittering in the circle of its solitary power like a highly polished tear carved out of crystal.

I'm glad she escaped, even if the snow queen is a hard character--we all have to be snow queens once in a while to survive. Metaphoricly (sp?) I think of getting too close to dnger, growing from it, and coming back harder. Bye am at work and writing quick
