Oh, So Holy

those phony smiles say it all,
the blank look of the brainwashed,
the silly smile, so proud
to be a robot, listening
to dogma while the brain
quests for answers, yet shut up
tightly like a laboratory
specimen, pickled to preserve
other people’s thoughts,
other people’s ancient books,
other people’s hatred of science.

We want answers that is true and sceince has a way of revealing truths that some really don't realize is there. I actually am glad of sceince because it has proven a lot of things that the naysayers can't disprove. I truly believe that religion and sceince can go hand and hand. Because something higher than we ourselves made it all work.
