A Time and place to Speak

Communication rules the nation. I hear this in the streets. But I've found the tongue to be very deadly even when the words are sweet. So think before you speak my friend. It's easy to cause offense. For the tongue can cause a fire that a rainfall of apologies will not quench.

Nobody has to yell for their opinions to be received. And truth is merely fighting words to those who won't believe. I understand that you are filled with knowledge, and that you have a desire to teach. But you can kill a soul if you don't know the time and place to speak..

It doesn't take a lot of fancy words for a thought to be profound. In fact people often miss the message and fall in love with the way we sound. Sure it's good to have a nice vocabulary, and how to make a beautiful speech. But even the most perfect words are deadly if we don't know when and where to speak.

Nobody has to yell for their opinions to be received. And truth is merely fighting words to those who won't believe. I understand that you are filled with knowledge, and that you have a desire to teach. But you can kill a soul if you don't know the time and place to speak.
