Why did the Easter bunny cross the road…?
The Easter bunny did cross the road,
He did it right after the little toad,
The truck that hit him did not well for him bode,
But the toad from the other side did to him goad…
Many times he did so without consequence,
This time he did so in his own defense,
He did climb the rather ubiquitous fence,
Only to die from a truck so immense…
His eggs strewn over the highway,
Eaten by the vultures in a road kill buffet,
The colored eggs do remind one of a roadway bouquet,
Hopefully eaten will be all the eggs before they do decay…
