Taking a break...

Infirmity And Love

An early morning call,

Came from my mother-in-law

Laden with

Consumed of

Foggy morning

Drizzle, light and cool rain.

Sleepless night

Full and ripe

Almost overwhelmed

Weary now am I

Easter day.

Yet, love gave me strength,

And showed me the way.

However, it seems

That  never ending does my service make

For all to give,

with nothing left of me to take.

Oh lord, I need a break.

For standing vigil through the morn

Has left me weak,

And forlorn.

Yet, I still stand in thanks for your grace

And will find gladness in Godly love

Be it through service to others

From which my strength comes from above.

I don't think your strength comes from above, rather it is inner strength...Ed
