The Victorian Cage
by Carol Fowler

This is the first of my books. It's unlike the other two in that it could be classified as a young adult, but it's okay for adults, too. And just remember. If you read me..

Woof, woof, ruff, ruff, grrrr & a short whine to all the doggies out there...

I write with my paws…by Rufuz

I write with my paws,

I am a dog not a cat with claws,

For that I do thank the big dog in the sky,

A dog I must be, you must understand the reason why…

I bark and chase cats and squirrels and anything that does run,

I love to chase balls and sticks as well, they are most fun,

I did on Sunday chase the seagulls, and ran into the ocean,

It was a bit cold but of the waves I do love the motion,

My dad of me has no concept; yep he has no notion…

My fur does shed in the coming spring,

I wish that daddy would use more the brush,

When he does brush me I just want to sing,

Instead I just do give him kisses; his beard does my tongue sting…

Boy am I glad that daddy did make this computer thing work for me,

He set it up so my paws they do not mess it up,

No longer does he charge me a fee,

Not that I had to pay him money (what’s money?),

Sometimes I just have to take him for walks so he can pee on many a tree…

A pawsitively wonderful poem, Poet Rufuz. But please don't let your Dad pee on too many trees - we need them - and your Dad's pee is probably very 'acidic!' Why not get him a nice litter box??!!

Funny and nice when you share the same tree. Boy we had the thunder boomers and no wonder everything is acting up. Ringo has hugging me he has to have his mama when it is booming and raining like that we have a pond in the front yard and back.
