Particles in the Wind

There are the memories
that time cannot erase
that reaches out to you…
at some unexpected second

Tiny flames
are ignited into fires
by the soft chords
of a special song

One which leaps out to caress you
with it's feathery touch
of nostalgic waves
fluttering through thin air

Or upon passing a certain place
which still holds
a special magic...
born so long ago

I live for the memories
because those particles in the wind,
so tiny as they may be
are all that I have left.
