I reside in the tropics
That's why I am unaware
Of the present season
I know its spring
So it is
According to the calendar
My eyes are closed
All around me is warm
As if I were still
Floating in the nectars
Of a womb
Voices startled me
To the awareness that
I am in a pool
Inhaling the heavenly perfume
Of flowers blossoming
All around
The laughter and giggles
Being recited into the winds
In it self
Tells me it's school recess

Still a bit cool and wet in the wonderful Garden state of NJ, but what else is new, we get more rain now than Seattle Washington...oh and Bill? If you keep reminding me of how nice it is in the tropics and that you are sitting in a pool and like that I may have to come down there and drown you, ya bum!!! LOL! Ed

I love the tropics, but I could never give up the four seasons, in our temperate climate.

Although I do hit the carabean as often as poss. Every place on this earth has such beauty.

I love the peaceful images here, William.

It sounds a lot like Florida at Spring Break, to me. I lived there for a time, but come April, it was already getting too humid for this desert rat. It sounds like paradise though, which I really thought it was from about December through February. Beautiful write with a definite reflection of peacefulness to the reader. It is wonderful to be ablet to live in a place that you love.
Take care,
Sherry

Sounds to me like you are doing a little day-trippin'. Nothing wrong with that. Very nice wording here.

William,

Move over, Buddy. I'm coming down there with you *I WISH!!*

Spring break--a blessing or a curse??

But the tropics...anytime...sigghhh!

Love this springy little write--well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
