Tarnished courtyard of antique relics,
Twisted twining vined limbed patio,
Dangling particles of upside down words,
Springtime pendulous flower clusters,
Pinnately compounded leaving breezes.
Arbor like deciduous climbing vines,
Wisterias climbing upon gentle fragrances,
Clinging over weather beaten statues,
Tabled abstractions seating sensuality,
Viewing works of diversity of humanity.
Weathered metallic punch bowl battle,
Dented with the wrath of oxidization,
Base countersunk in rooted resolve,
Chalice of deep purple-throated veins,
Five pointed purple stars blooming.
Orange petals layered in circles,
Growing smaller and more intense,
Grounded to dirt within a pedestal,
Inside its drinking cup of renewal,
Blessing this dynamic spring day.
Psyche set at ease with sensual absorption,
Breezing upon the wind’s inflections,
Mirroring upon the mind’s reflections,
Vibrating upon the beauty of retrospection,
Contemplating silence of introspection.
The Garage works on inducing intoxication
From sips of wine or effervescent champagne,
To other drinks leading into great conversations,
People feeling the efflorescence of the décor
Feeling the spring of life all around them.
Note: The Garage is located in Birmingham Alabama. It is hard to find but it is a different kind of place to enjoy a spring conversation.
