Love Came Down

 Love came down

a whirlwind full of promise

sweeping them up
until
their feet didn't touch the ground

sweetness
fresh as dew and honey
decended from the mountains

rained like jewels
glittering on wet pavement

and tomorrow held its breath
in awe of today
