Dear Descartes: Creativity By Ada Aharoni Dear Descartes, not only "I think, therefore I am," But mostly, "I create therefore I am." I am me for having given birth To my offspring, my oeuvre, Vibrating sharp, exciting life sparks In every cell, every branch, every breath, every entwined root of my being. Dear Descartes, listen, wherever you are, I'm a woman, I'm a mother, I'm a poet, I'm a writer, I'm the mother of "poetas" - Therefore, for me it can only be: "I create, therefore I am."
