How little you know of poetry,
if you say-it is a very simple art!
“Oh! Never say that, never again,
for in its simplicity is its complexity.
Ah! Poets, they go to the end of their
thoughts, and then come back
to the beginning. And they keep on
repeating these marathon innings,
on and on; day after day and night
after night, sauntering hopefully
towards their destination - Poetry.

This is terrific!! Beautiful word weave, Bhuwan! And the message is so true! Poetry is extremely complex. It's an entire novel, telling the whole story, whittled down to a few lines. Your line:

for in its simplicity is its complexity...

portrays this flawlessly.

Poetry is anything but simple, Bhuwan. You are right. True poetry comes straight from the soul and that is eternal. Thank you for sharing this insightful offering. Love and peace to you. Regis

I love this, Bhuwan, and who could have done the topic more justice than a poet such as yourself who conveys a world of meaning by following the trail of the simplest concept that others would dismiss with a flick of the hand...

When a poet's words come from his/her heart and soul, then it's the best in it's expression, and the most honest biographical write.

Poetry is like an abstract picture of the mind.

Good job on this one, Bhuwan!
