Pale life worry not!
I shall color your petals
with the redness
of my beloved’s cheeks.
And at the day’s end,
when I am thirsty and tired,
I shall crawl my lips
in between the fountain
of her hips,
and sip the nectar
leisurely caressing
those pristine drops
on the tip of my tongue.
Then I shall stroll
a little higher,
and lay my head, on the
lap of her mighty Himalayas,
with my sorrow dangling
loose as the fleeting frost.

Gasping for breath here, Bhuwan! This is intoxicating and a superb metaphor for passion in extremis. The analogy is unique and perfectly expressed: a genius of thinking to use hot/cold, pale/pink ardour/sorrow in these ways. A complete masterpiece of thinking and execution. A keeper for sure! TY and Bless you, LOL Kate xx
