My dad challenged me to write a Christian poem...

I grew up going to church
Sundays were for smelling incense
I heard these stories of Jesus
And sometimes they
Didnít make sense
I wanted to ask the question
Is Jesus real or fake
I never had the nerve
Didnít want to make
The earth quake

I kept it to myself
And had some serious concerns
But religiously I lived the faith
And without seeing
I left leaves unturned
Then grace it was that
Opened my eyes
And the answers were revealed
You see it isnít the wondering
Itís allowing the wisdom
To come unpeeled

Well, you won the challenge, in my opinion. What was the prize? Or did you win just by keeping what you had? Henry
