In memory of my Grandmother Watson.

Precious hands created a masterpiece; with no colors or design in mind; fibers of cloth stitched together with
love and pride; a work of art; each different and unique, a gift finer than anything store brought; each and every
stitch has a story; madness; happiness; and sometimes sadness; if only you could talk; a woman more precious than gold; finer than silk; made the best from old rags keeping her family warm and secure; withstanding the cold; the spirit she housed was strong; enough to
weather any situation; of any degree; Grandma's quilts were treasures given with love!

My dear Mother made many a quilt out of anything she found. Somewere from dresses of ours and some were just scraps of material, but they always were meant to be treasured very much.

I bet you every piece of fabrics was of something that holds its own history and life's memory. That's what so good about this grandma's quilt.

Wonderful write!
