TO MY SOULMATE How can this be, this you and me? The miracle of chemistry. From falling stars in ages past The seeds to grow our love were cast. Ancestral drama, ancient lore As hearts evolved in search of more. Life did appear when love was shared, From this our paths would be prepared. You know that when we did connect I trembled in the full effect, Confessing that the myth was real I told you what I had to feel. You followed when you saw the light- That everything would turn out right. It is the truth that�s in my head And all the poems that I have said. I love you with my total heart As always from the very start We knew in that mysterious way That only you and I can say. So if you are my soul mate dear I will believe you�re really here, And if I�m yours you�ll feel the care And know that I am really there. Soul mate, has your heart believed In this grand dream that we conceived? If it�s not you my spirit kissed My soul mate never will exist. John H. Bidwell
