From my first published Collection of poetry Reflections On Life

We go through life

Angry at those

We are called to love

We say hateful things

And refuse to apologize

Because they said

To hurt us before

Months, years

It really doesn't matter

To us

We can nurse a grudge for a lifetime

Ignoring your teachings,

Lord now I pray

Show us how to forgive

So we can love

Instead of hate.

How true, that too much time is wasted on anger. How much happier to hear the Songbird, than the nursing of a grudge. Well said, Michelle...

Beautiful title and picture for your FIRST collection. Congratulations! and on your newest publishing as well.!! \___/

This poem is very inspirational, so soft spoken and elegant
and would really make the world such a nicer place if we all could follow your words of your longing heart's prayer, you've given the answer.

refuse to apologize... we can nurse a grudge for a lifetime...
So true. That right there says so much. Very awakening.
Thanks Michelle
