How many more fools?

And the hands on the clock start to roam

While he wishes he was back home

Oh the fool plays on in despair

To a room full of vacant chairs

Don’t play that song again

It brings memories of loss and pain

Don’t hurt yourself any more

Pick yourself up, off the floor

Remember, tomorrow is always there

As you sit brooding in your chair

But the fool plays on in despair

With no talent, style or flare

Oh the fool plays on in despair

To a room full of vacant chairs

Yes it's true, there is definitely
a time for change whether it's wanted
or not. I was never a musician but I
love music, so I can relate to that
part of it but I guess a poem is a bit
like a song? Brava Andrea!

This is fantastic Andrea, as a singer and guitar player myself (not a very good one) there are certian songs that when I play the teardrops always threaten and if I'm drinking sometimes do overflow and yet...I still have to play them. This poem is so right on.
