“As I Breathe The Fresh Air”

I wonder why… the sea is so lonely today
I feel the cold water at my feet
And I breathe the fresh air
I don’t know what to do…
Because I miss you so very much you know
And when I miss you… I come here… to think
I can’t take it

When I can't talk to you
I feel strangled by my love for you
Why is it… that I choke
Every time your name enters my mind
Or when my thoughts…
Just wanders in your direction
Is that why… the sea is lonely too today?
Because I am so damn lonely without you
I breathe some more fresh air…
And I push my toes into the sand
And I dream… we play “Footsy”
And I embrace my self as I look up
And far above…

A seagulls’call greets me
Was that perhaps

You calling out to me too!!
Answering me from afar…
Or… was it

Just wishful thinking
Once again!!
As

I agree that it is a beautiful melancholy poem...

Yet there is always wisdom to be found in the seagulls’ call. Sort of Gods' special messenger...

Nothing happens by chance, Tinka. If you knew the voice of the Gull was a connection, then it certainly must have been. We can be one in spirit with those we are unable to be physically near.
Take care,
Sherry
