This is so soft and romantic! I especially like this line:
"as deep calls to deep" There is a whole relationship
in those five words!

|Communication is the bridge between two hearts.
Understanding is what we find as we meet
somewhere near the middle.

|I'd forgotten the famous phrase "deep calls to deep." Thank you for reminding me. I think I have a poem enttitled "Speak" as well. Getting the lover to speak up and say what he really means and really intends...ahhhh. Ugh! It seems the sincere ones drive us crazy and do a little dance to make a little love and the players speak loudly and mean absolutely nothing; so, by the time the real one comes with the "real thing" and speaks up we're afraid to believe anything he says. LOL. Loved the poem, Kate. ~~Nordette|

|You have taken the deepest commitments that we humans share and wrapped them all in a gorgeous coccoon of true love and romance. It just doesn't get any better than this, Kate. So soft and lovely are your verses...cotton candy to the soul.
