WARNING: This doesn't necessarily reflect my LOL

I writes 'em as I gets 'em. And boy, did I get it.

Poetry can just kiss my ass.
Having to think in metered rhyme,
It drives me crazy all the time...
Poetry can just kiss my ass.

Poetry can just kiss my ass.
My Muse keeps me up late at night,
Something about that just ain't right...
Poetry can just kiss my ass.

Poetry can just kiss my ass.
Poetry writing is just for fools,
Who sits around and drools and drools...
Poetry can just kiss my ass.

Poetry can just...nevermind,
Having one of those days today,
I take it all back, it's okay,
Fergit what I said, erase, rewind

No fear, Karla!! Can't BELIEVE this!! I have just written a poem "inside out" that is JUST this very thing, I reckon!! Well, about what poets DO with poetry, actually... or rather how they write it... or somethin... anyway.. that cheeky (!!) kiss is what I had in mind EXACTLY when I wrote what I wrote, too, so guess The Muse is being her usual promiscuous self - bless her!! Love this, daggone it! There's another comment I COULD make about mutual ass-kissing, but I'll spare you! :)) LOL Kate xx

Everyone feels that way at times, Karla. It's good to let it all out and you did that very well through your poem. Thank you. Amour et paix. Ton ami de la C-B, Canada. Régis

So, first off, I will say this, "Poetry has kissed your CLass!
And you're at the top of it. Good going - good poet. You've said it all for us when we're down. You're a fool poet no mater the subject. - Bill

your muse is on a ROLL lately; this is a very bizarre (but hysterically funny) poem! brava; keep up the great writing, and may your muse never let you down! well done!!

ROFL. I didn't have a day like that recently, but did feel like I just didn't want to write. Not quite the same as writer's block. More like, gee, the muse is taking a nap, don't bug her. On the other hand, I've been reading Aberjhani and he's so damned intimidating I feel like maybe I should just give up! LOL Got a kick out of the write, Karla. ~~Nordette
