Concerning God And Prayers



I have recently know desire


And I prayed for it, to want,


To work, to prove


Who I am


Or


Can be.


Now I need commitment.


Proved to me


That there is worth


And need


For my endeavor


Or I'll languish


Forever


In desire -


Fruitless


Uninspired


Even to bloom,


Much less


To be consumed


As nurture


Of the mind


Or heart


Or soul.


Or even their painful echo.
