I am going to document myself going through the process of healing from my addictive trait(s) to pain pills. I shall journal with poems, but be sure and check my blog as well!
I finally finished “Step One”.
Got a bit confused
towards the end,
but it all worked out fine.
Now, I just need to get
a hold of my sponsor one
then we shall go over it
and see what “turns up!”
I attend the NA group
last night, for once!
I have been going to DRA
three times a week and then
AA the other times.
It is slowly working
I got a certificate and
a colored marble while
at RR Hospital in Wichita
I am very Proud of that fact!
Today I am 9 days Sober
and have gone to 4 meetings.
It is a start!
Thank you, everyone!
God Bless all,
Rebecca (Becca) P (Henry) Lang

|Every day is a fresh day unto itself, Rebecca, with new horizons, new hopes and the past wiped clean: like walking uphill, keeping one's eyes on the path and not on the summit, suddenly, when you stop to look around, you are amazed by how far you have climbed and what new perspectives abound - AND how good you feel. The journey is the important thing, not the destination in itself although it is, of course the thing that makes the journey worthwhile. Every day is a fresh step and when you stop to count - you soon will have made 90 and not 9! I so admire you and the personal road to health and wholeness that you are travelling. We are all with you in spirit and are sharing - both with you and with others - what we all, in some shape and form, are engaged in ourselves to a larger or lesser extent. Bless you and may you know that you are never alone. May peace and grace flood the path around you. LOL Kate xx|

|Very good and I talked to your sister. Continue to keep up the good work. I had to go to a revival the other week and it was very late getting back. Excellent efforts here and God be with you.|
