I am your brother,
friend and lover,
umblical cords entwined.

I cherish smiles
that froth from faces

I will embrace peacocks
that regal as show piece

I will desire damsels
whose bosoms swing
only as exhibits.

None have smoothered my heart
like the elegance of your walk
- the koi, koi heave from
my damsel's foot-steps.

Just beautiful! So unique and captivating... delicate and tender, too. An elevating write that pays homage in a real and living way. It shows the essence of what a true love can be: shot through with original and creative perceptions, images and metaphors. Very well done, and thank you for this source of inspiration! Kate xx

Emeka,

A multi-sensoral delight, your words--beautifully imaged and penned!

In the stanza about damsels, did you mean "bosoms" instead of "bossoms"? Just wondering--

Otherwise, excellent!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
