“Beyond This Wall”

Within a turmoil of despair

Blinded by tears like rain

Waiting for me to die

Touched

But know no more

Voice now silent

Forever more

No more echo of a voice

Her songs will never be heard again

Not even beyond

Beyond the wall of sleep

Where I wander

My only companion

Blinded tears

As I keep searching for answers

Seek for the light long gone

Just to wake

With a blinded headache

Knowing

I will never return

Not even beyond the wall of sleep

Because

To be home with God

You need no place on earth

You are at peace

Sitting by the side of our Lord

Smiling beyond a wall of clouds

That covers you up

Painting stars so bright

To shine upon the earth by night

When beyond the wall of sleep

I now feed dead fish

In a evil pond of sadness

I cry

Amazing, Tinkasweets. I posted my latest poem way before I read this but I think the girl in your graphic is the same as the one in the one I posted. Certainly the emotions and the meaning in this poem are in "harmony" with mine. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis

So very sad, Tinka. We have many pathways running through our lives and we are free to choose which ones we shall roam. Pick another pathway and though you may still be forced to remain near the troubled path, you can spend your time wandering the pathways of hope, reason and happiness. We cannot control others in our lives, but we can control how we allow them to affect us.
Take care,
Sherry

No time for crying..time to pick yourself off embrace life and go on after what it is you want so badly a life and love of your own. This is truly a beautiful poem and it does for sure ccome from the heart but also in that other room of your heart behind a closed door perhaps is hope. Go grab onto it.
