"Faces of hope! I see you shining now / Rising in the east but never setting"

Transcendental Sonnet #1362:

The Teacher

Faces of hope!  I see you shining now

Rising in the east but never setting

The days of this my mortal span allow

Remembering but never forgetting

We are never parting only greeting

Across the arc of time expectantly

At the crossroads of two ages meeting

As I with you find out what we can do

Together in this mutuality

Which finds two minds becoming one somehow

Far in the future please remember me

That I was here and that I cared for you

And I will show you everything I know

To bring your bud to bloom before I go

I agree with Felix here. This is one of your best. As a teacher you lead by example. Thank you for teaching me as well.

What do I think of The Teacher-Easy ? my dear- It's quite DAmn good - and to the point of someone who is deserving your noticeable Touch/mind and heart.... Thank you 4 writing this... Makes you think 1,2,3 times more... A Learning this Poem is indeed! YOu could never be ForGotten as any GREAT Teacher can not be.

YOU speak from the Gut
WE are lucky to be from the same space
Only spanning by mind
As the days takes it's leaps and bound.
To Victory you seek
It may take a Great Leap, but knowing your tenacity-
YOu will Conquor and when you do,we all will be even prouder of YOU-Stevie- P.S. I bought 2 of your GREAT books, 1 is Poems- and the other is the 1st. book. CAn't wait 4 their arrival- I can see the pages turningggggg... Lots of HuGs-Love-Lady,Sheee

A different kind of love song here, and one I think more important than most: singing lights of dedication to noble principle and human potential, illuminating beautifully what perhaps should be our primary activity in this world--one soul's humane and loving empowerment of another in order that the best of what we give to this world may live on and become even better.

this was an excellent write, which hits home for me: both my parents are retired teachers, who can't get it out of their system, no matter what they say. a beautiful dedication to beautiful people. thank you, deeply...

respect and admiration, -A.
