Do you ever remember
How could it could feel
                     could be
                     once was
Do you ever remember
My hands on your robe
Gently tugging the knot
Brushing aside the fabric
                       from your breasts
                       to your sides
Do you ever remember
The warm flow of my breath
                            my lips
                            my tongue
Do you ever remember
The touch of my hands
Kneading your flesh
The strength of my passion
                        needing you
                        with me
Do you ever remember
The worship of your body
                        the offering
                        of mine
Do you ever remember
Nights of drawn out
Tender loving
Rare and glorious
Do you ever remember
Bringing me into you
Do you ever remember
The sometimes clumsiness
Making our love making
Spontaneous and new
                           and exciting
Do you ever remember
Telling me in the morning
                          how well
                          you'd slept
I remember
    In ways
     I will

You take the reader on a long walk through time with this excellent write, Roger. The warm memories tickled long forgotten memories of my own. All who we love are special and they all leave their footprints on our soul. Very nice romantic write.
Take care,

One of the many things I love about your poetry, Roger, is that it is "physically" inviting, as well as emotionally and mindfully. You 'design' poetry. I find nuances in your choices of indenting and verse structure... nothing is done without thought.

You're a bit melancholy, lately in your postings. You have such a lovely, tender, romantic side. katy xox
