Walking along a river bank
Holding hands throughout time,
Feeling your warmth of touch
Growing daily in companionship.
Steps side by side, joined together,
From dreams of gentle whispers,
Songbirds dancing with memories,
Bonding friendship of special trust.
Intimate time of just caressing close,
The trails of trails and tribulations,
Intertwining feeling of endless love,
Soul mates of now and hereafter.
From the simplest of doing things,
Frustration to touching revelations,
Hardships to wealth, shared together,
From that first walk down the path!
Note: Life is about companionship that is why I am seeking my soul mate, for she will be part of my answer to my destiny. In the sharing of my love, on the trails of life, heavens will have then given me my greatest birthday present. In return, I pray my words will have renewed birth, accepted as a poet who could open minds, for the future lies in our children’s minds. Teach them the art of communication and independence, to use the creativity inside them to walk their paths in the comfort of their heartbeats singing in the truth of natures walk upon the almighty heavens.
