They Are With Us

This poem was written by my talented brother, Neil Smith. He composed this especially for a friend who passed away. I thought it was so beautiful, I wanted to add it here. |
|
When the sun rises,
They are with us.
When Winter's chill surrounds us,
They are with us.
When the snow has melted and rests in the seas,
They are with us.
When the joy of Summer renews our spirits,
They are with us.
When the leaves change color and slowly fall away,
They are with us.
For as long as we shall live,
They are with us.
They are a part of us,
And we remember them.
