Ah memories, gotta write them down while still I can remember...

Had a great time while it lasted…J

Parties, driving fast, boats and cars,

Parachuting amongst the nights stars,

Landing a plane without lessons,

Playing a guitar in Hendrix’ sessions…

Wrote poetry and stories that seemed so real,

Rode camels with Tuaregs & shot some reels,

Fished for deep sea creatures, fought for hours,

Fought against old mom ocean and her powers…

Did meager jobs even at twelve,

Into caves so deep did we delve,

Never did save a penny,

Know this to be a stupid, now ain’t got any…

But damn we had fun,

We followed the sun,

Around the world,

Surfed and swam and skirted with death,

Summer was forever; winter never came,

We were always going to be young,

We would never grow old and lame…

Never did I expect to exist to fifty,

Sure now that I am it seems quite nifty,

Just really wish I learned younger how to be thrifty,

For now I am unable to learn, old dogs don’t easily learn new tricks,

Now the biggest and most exciting thing I do is play the lottery quick picks…J

But then old dogs are damned comfortable to have around and you know I have a definite soft spot for them.

Wonderful look back Ed. No use to have regrets
