"Out Of The Strong Came Forth Sweetness"

Beneath hard lid of soft-mined tin
is pot of liquid gold:

Man's honey imperially harvested,
raised on jagged bones;
yielded from live ribs
of a captured plunder.

Sun has no blood
for bees to suck;
it secretes a comb of purer sweetness.

But man's sugar is full of teeth:
bleeding knuckles, broken spines.

It's bittersweet bled
from the flesh of the weak.

Wow! This leaves one with the sense of
the bittersweet. A ponderance on the
condition of man. Excellent and haunting.

Hi Kova Kate

This is so interesting.....I've read it thru several times. A bit sweet mystery here for me, I have looked at this from both sides of the honey comb. The taking and the giving......
