Passing up the chance for revenge, I keep my cool and my distance.

the sins of the son
are visited on the father
both holes
cut from the same cloth

i made of one a sleeve
to hang on my shoulder
but it could not bear
the weight of my breasts

in fact it left them
bared to the wind
and to the cold
and to the ice

i crave the heat
and accidentally
my other arm slips
through the space

i find the fabric warm
woven by strong female hands
that tried so hard
to hold the threads together

so hard to press the fold
flat
to keep the scissors
from punching through both sides

but alas
alas...
two cheeks of the same ass
blades of the same grass

rotting at the root

does one good turn
deserve another
no
i am not their mother
i will not bend to bother

but a girl can always wonder
